Volunteers Make a Difference
Barnabas-Safe & Sound welcomes the contribution of volunteers to services and promotes their involvement. Volunteers complement the work of paid staff and do not substitute for paid staff.
We believe that volunteers have an important role to play in engaging young people with the community. That is the interaction of individuals who share a sense of place, interest or activity. In this context we want to encourage volunteers who share our vision for a community that enables young people to thrive.
We have identified a number of roles where volunteers with the right skills and a positive attitude can make a significant difference to our services. To view and download our Volunteering Policy, Volunteer Registration Form and possible Volunteer Roles please check out our downloads section.
Note it is our policy to request Enhanced CRBs from all volunteers who are likely to work alongside children and vulnerable adults.
